Cancellation and Refund Policy

The following cancellation and refund policy applies to each individual training booked as part of the EMDR Basic Training program, including participants who have purchased a full training package.

• Up to 60 days before training there is a full refund excluding an administration fee of $50.

• Between 60 days and 21 days before training there is a 50% refund excluding administration fee of $50.

• There are no refunds or transfer of payment to future trainings for cancellation within 21 days of a booked training.

• Refunds will be deposited into your nominated back account when approved.

Please note that cancellation of one training component does not transfer payment entitlement to another training date or training component. Participants who withdraw within the non-refundable period and wish to complete the training at a later date will be required to register and pay for a future training.

Why are courses fees non-refundable within 21 days of the training running?
We specialise in running small group trainings and there are fixed costs when running these courses. EMDRAA and the EMDR Institute require highly skilled facilitators to assist with the training, based on the number of participants attending, as well as venue costs, printing costs (manual), postage costs, and IP costs for each participant. If you withdraw from a training less than 21 days before the training is due to run, these costs still apply to the courses and are non-refundable to us. To help us maintain the viability of offering small-group trainings and the highest possible standard of training delivery, please ensure you have read and understood the cancellation and refund policy.

 

Case Consultation:

In total, 10 hours of case consultation is required in addition to the lecture and practicum components completed during Part 1 and Part 2 trainings. Case consultation can be individual or small group.
